Johannesburg Pikitup (SOC) Limited invites South African unemployed youth to apply for Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme for a period of 18 months.

Position: Work Intergrated Learning (WIL) Programme

Duration: 18 Months

Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng

Closing Date: 20 October 2024

Johannesburg Pikitup (SOC) Limited is in the process of establishing a database for students who need WIL to complete their studies.

This is also in a quest to address the growing demand by a tertiary institution for students to undergo on-the-job exposure, as a pre-requisite to acquire an academic qualification or as a requirement after qualifying to obtain experiential training.

For applicants to be considered for placement on the database the following criteria must be met:

  • Must be youth (not older than 35) residing in Johannesburg.
  • Must not have participated in a similar programme/s before
  • Be a South African citizen
  • Applicant must be unemployed

The programme period will not exceed 18 months and students will be invited for interviews as and when the company needs students.

The Work Integrated Learning Programme will be offered in the following categories:

  • Finance
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Audit and Risk
  • Waste Management
  • Landfill
  • Occupational Health and Safety
  • Communications and Marketing
  • Human Resources
  • Customer Services
  • Business Planning and Reporting
  • Legal and Compliance

Closing Date: 20 October 2024. No late applications will be considered.
