Participants will be responsible for assisting with loading and offloading activities according to delivery procedures, following operational instructions provided by supervisors, and ensuring that all assigned duties are completed accurately and safely. The role also focuses on maintaining high service standards, supporting warehouse operations, and contributing positively to daily workflow activities.

Successful candidates will work within designated operational areas and receive exposure to equipment usage, safety procedures, and client service expectations. The programme supports the development of responsibility, teamwork, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities within a structured logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

Participants will be expected to:

  • Learn and understand client operational requirements and delivery procedures
  • Assist with loading and offloading activities according to workplace standards
  • Follow instructions provided by Team Leaders and operational supervisors
  • Use workplace equipment correctly and report faults or defects when identified
  • Report any damaged or non-conforming customer merchandise immediately
  • Maintain compliance with safety procedures and operational guidelines
  • Work in different operational sections as required by business needs
  • Complete assigned tasks accurately and within required timelines
  • Maintain professionalism and integrity while performing duties
  • Support daily warehouse and logistics operations when required
Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) with English and Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy
  • South African citizenship
  • BBB-EE candidate status
  • Unemployed youth between 18 and 29 years of age
  • Valid Code 08 driver’s licence (advantageous)
  • Valid Forklift or Reach Truck licence (advantageous)
  • Updated curriculum vitae (CV)
  • Certified copy of South African ID
  • Certified copy of Matric certificate
