ABOUT THE ROLE

The Production Learner will report directly to the Production Foreman and will be based in Brits. The role focuses on adhering to safety regulations and quality specifications while assembling tyres within the targeted cycle time during the learnership programme.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct risk assessments on production equipment
  • Wear and maintain provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Maintain 3S standards in the assigned work area
  • Ensure all machine controls are in proper working condition
  • Remove empty spools, trolleys and rolls from machines
  • Return empty items to the component section
  • Push viewed raw covers into designated storage bays
  • Supply required solutions to production machines
  • Work effectively as part of a production team
  • Meet productionsction targets in line with the learnership programme requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Minimum Grade 12 or N3 Certificate
  • Mathematics (Pure Maths) and/or Physical Science
