Trainee in the Finance Department.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented graduates to join our Finance team in a role that blends cost management, business analysis, and commercial reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to gain end-to-end exposure in financial operations, decision support, and business performance reporting.
As a Finance graduate, you will work closely with key stakeholders across the business—including Operations, Sales, and Supply Chain—providing critical insights that influence commercial strategies and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Cost Management & Analysis
- Support in budgeting and forecasting processes for direct and indirect costs.
- Analyse production and operating costs across business units.
- Assist with cost allocation models and ensure accurate cost tracking.
- Partner with operations to monitor cost performance and identify efficiencies.
- Sales & Commercial Reporting
- Prepare regular commercial performance reports including revenue, margins, and sales trends.
- Perform profitability analysis by product, region, and customer segment.
- Track performance against sales targets and assist with variance analysis.
- Work with the commercial team to evaluate pricing strategies and promotional effectiveness.
- Business Partnering & Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and provide financial insights.
- Present financial results and analysis to internal stakeholders.
- Provide support for strategic projects and ad hoc commercial analysis.
Finance Trainee Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- CTA Qualification or Honours in Management Accounting or Honours in Finance.
- Strong academic record.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and comfort working with large data sets.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
