Position: Intern (Contract appointment)
Stipend: R8 567.50 per month
Location: Bloemfontein Campus, Free State

Description
Duties and responsibilities:
• Capture information of staff on the HR PeopleSoft System.
• Adhere to HR policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Adhere to service-level agreements with other sections of HR and with internal clients.
• Ensure data integrity and quality assurance of work done.
• Develop and maintain constructive relationships with both internal and external clients.
• Ensure effective communication with clients, both internal and external, on ad-hoc queries.
• Provide professional, knowledgeable and friendly service to clients, ensuring a prompt response to queries and requests with regard to data requests.
• Assist HR Business Partners, HR Process Administrators, HR Quality Assurance Officers and other HR staff members as may be assigned.
Inherent requirements:
• A Bachelor’s degree or a B-Tech degree on NQF Level 7 in Human Resources.
Recommendations:
• A Bachelor’s degree or a B-Tech degree on NQF Level 7 in Human Resources with Statistics on first-year level.
The following criteria apply to the selection of candidates:
• Have not participated in any learnership / internship programme.
• Willing to sign a learnership / internship agreement with the UFS.
• Has no formal work experience
