The Fort Cox Agriculture and Forestry Training Institute invites South African unemployed individuals to apply for In-Service Training Programme for a period of 18 months.
IN-SERVICE TRAINING PROGRAMME (FOR 2025)
Position: Catering Services In-service trainees X4
Reference Number: ITH/11/2024
Stipend: As per DPSA provision for in-service training
Period: 12 months
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 and N6 certificate in Catering Services.
Key Performance Areas:
- Assist with all the preparations and execution of functions
- Assist on drafting menu and preparations of meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
- Paying attention to hygiene directives and personal hygiene
- Set up venue (and assistance with cleaning preparations of the venue), lay labels, and serve foods/beverages to the visitors and students
- Clear/strip tables (crockery, cutlery and glassware)
- Wash up crockery, glassware, cutlery, clean and polish all silver and tableware
- Responsible for the storage of all glassware, plates, pots and crockery
- Liaise closely with Supervisor regarding the availability of table linen.
- Report any maintenance problems regarding service equipment’s to the supervisor daily.
- Assist with other general household duties.

NB: Applicants who have already participated on the In-service training will not be considered.
