Position: Learnership Unemployed Programme X5 Posts
Stipend: R3 500.00 per month
Duration: Twelve (12) months

Learnership Unemployed Programme: National Certificate in Nature Conservation: Resource Guardianship NQF Level 2
The programmes integrate practical, theory and includes both structured work experience and structural learning with an accredited training provider – leading to an SAQA accredited qualification.
The successful applicants will be placed at the below MTPA Nature Reserve:

QUALIFICATIONS CRITERIA
- Unemployed South African between the ages of 18 and 35 years.
- Must have Grade 12
- Attach Curriculum Vitae (CV) and ID copy.
- Must be interested in working outdoors and doing practical work.
- Valid proof of residence.
- Must be residing in the Mpumalanga Province.
- Not studying at any tertiary institution.
- Not registered for any other learnerships.
- People with Disabilities are encouraged to apply.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Assisting in the conservation of biodiversity on the reserves and conservation areas.
- Monitoring and removal of invasive vegetation.
- Assist with task such as fire, rehabilitation and restoration, infrastructure maintenance, monitoring fauna and flora, plant propagation and administration.
Collection of data to best achieve the objectives.
Interacting with community members, residents, businesses owners and organisations to promote environmental education and awareness and involvement in the reserve.
Complete assessment timeously and in relation to practical experience on the reserves.
Attend training and learner support sessions.
