WILDTRUST YES Programme Vacancies 2026 – Pietermaritzburg (12-Month Work Experience Opportunities).
The WILDTRUST is offering multiple Youth Employment Services (YES) Programme opportunities for unemployed youth aged between 18 and 27 years. These positions form part of a national initiative funded by Nedbank to reduce youth unemployment by providing structured workplace exposure and practical training across several operational areas.
The YES Programme provides a 12-month work-based training opportunity designed to equip participants with practical experience, workplace readiness skills, and professional exposure that improves long-term employability. Programme Overview
The Youth Employment Services Programme is a national initiative aimed at providing unemployed youth with structured workplace exposure across multiple sectors. The programme supports skills development, improves access to employment opportunities, and strengthens professional readiness through real-world experience.
Participants gain exposure to organisational systems, reporting structures, administrative coordination processes, and field-based operational activities depending on the selected role. Each placement runs for a fixed period of 12 months and includes structured responsibilities aligned with workplace training objectives.

Programme Location and Duration
Location: Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal
Contract Duration: 12 months
Monthly Stipend: R5 241.00
