Role Description
Bakubung Platinum Mine (BPM) is offering a unique development opportunity for promising young employed and unemployed candidates, who wants to obtain a nationally recognised qualification in engineering, mining and process plant. The opportunity is aimed at individuals who are committed, passionate and goal driven that can form an integral part of the BPM talent pool.
Interested candidates are invited to apply for the Learnership opportunities. Study fields offered here: Engineering (rigging, fitting, boiler making, instrumentation, millwright, electrical), Mining Level 2 and 3 and Mineral Processing Level 2.
Minimum Requirements
N2 with Mathematic and Engineering Science
or Grade 12 Mathematics and Physical Science.
or Technical matric with the relevant trade theory.
Other Requirements
Medically fit to work in the specific area.
Must be a South African citizen.
Must be between 18 – 35 years old.
Must be clear of any criminal record.

Preference will be given to applicants residing within a 50km radius of Bakubung Platinum Mine.
This is a learnership programme and the company will not be obliged to offer permanent employment upon completion of studies.
