uShaka Marine World is calling on unemployed graduates to take advantage of the valuable opportunity to apply for the 12-month Hospitality Management Graduate Internship Programme. Brief Description of the Job

The Hospitality Management Graduate Intern will be provided with comprehensive exposure to the Food and Beverage department within uShaka Marine World. This role is designed to offer an immersive learning experience about the operational, service, and management aspects of the hospitality industry within a renowned entity. Interns will gain practical knowledge by participating in daily operations, supporting guest services, and contributing to the overall customer experience. This internship aims to develop the candidate’s skills and professionalism, preparing them for a future career in hospitality management.

Essential Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Matric / Grade 12 certificate
  • National Diploma in Hospitality Management (NQF Level 6) obtained from a recognized public university or university of technology

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Solid understanding of the hospitality industry, specifically the dynamics of Food and Beverage services
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality guest experiences
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing situations
  • A strong desire to learn, grow professionally and take on challenges with a positive and proactive attitude
