INTERNSHIP ANIMAL SCIENCE – (1346)
Job requirement
- Bsc Agriculture in Animal Science
- The candidate must be 18-35 years of age
- The candidate must be South African citizen
- The preference will be given to the candidate who graduated with University of Venda
Job Duties
- Assist with daily livestock care and management, including feeding, health checks, and record-keeping.
- Monitor growth performance, reproduction, and disease management in livestock.
- Participate in the development of feeding programs and ration formulation.
- Assist in implementing animal welfare practices.
- Perform routine data collection and analysis on livestock performance.
- Support vaccination, deworming, and other veterinary interventions
INTERNSHIP (PLANT AND SOIL) – (1344)
Requirements:
- BSc. Agriculture in Plant and Soil
- The applicant must be 18 to 35 years of age
- The applicant must be South African citizen
- No work experience required
Job duties
- Conduct soil sampling, testing, and analysis to determine fertility and health.
- Recommend soil improvement measures such as fertilization, liming, or organic matter incorporation.
- Assist in erosion control and soil conservation practices.
- Monitor the effects of different cropping systems and land management practices on soil health.
- Document and report on soil management activities and results.
- Assist in research and development of high-yield crop varieties.
- Monitor crop growth and performance under various environmental conditions.
- Participate in pest and disease control strategies.
- Conduct experiments to improve crop resistance and productivity.
- Collect and analyze data on plant physiology and genetics.
INTERNSHIP ( FOOD SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY) – (1343)

- BSc. Agriculture in Forestry

Job duties
- Assist faculty members and graduate students in conducting research projects.
- Participant in laboratory activities to gain hands-on experience.
- Assist in the analysis of research data using statistical software.
- Provide support to ongoing research project.
- Conduct literature search and review to support the development.
- Participate in various academic activities.
INTERNSHIP (AGRIBUSINESS) – (1339)
