Introduction

An opportunity exists for a 1-year internship in the Human Resources Development department.
Job description
- The Intern will be expected to learn and develop a good understanding of the Human Resources value chain from entry to exit.
- They will develop Human Resources competencies, gradually providing increased support to colleagues in the department.
- Namely, collating information and reports, providing administrative support, assisting with the arrangement and logistics for various programmes, workshops, meetings, and the HRD calendar of events.
- Communicating with colleagues across the Division to determine HRD needs.
- She/he will be exposed to Human Resources consulting and the provision of best practice processes regarding development programmes, change management, transformation and employment equity, organisational development, talent management, employee wellness and general human resources administrative duties.
Minimum requirements
- Grade 12 (Senior Certificate)
- A Master’s degree in Industrial Psychology
- Knowledge and understanding of Human Resources theories and best practices
- South African
- Under the age of 35 years
