Minimum Requirements
- Must be a South African Citizen.
Relevant Tertiary qualification(s) at NQF Level 6 or higher from an accredited institution of higher learning, ideally in Procurement, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Transport and Logistics, Operations Management, Accounting and Finance, or other relevant fields. - Average grade of 65% or higher.
- Willing to relocate and/or travel within South Africa.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and coordination skills.
- Computer literacy and general administrative skills.
- Driver’s license and own transport will be advantageous.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on suppliers, prepare RFQs, and analyse pricing and contract terms to support sourcing initiatives.
- Assist in spend analysis and market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance supplier value.
- Participate in supplier management and relationship-building efforts, gaining insights into sustainable procurement practices.
- Provide data analysis, reporting, and documentation support for procurement activities.
- Engage in project-based learning with guidance from mentors and coaches to deepen your understanding of procurement’s strategic role within Unitrans.
