uMngeni Water Services is offering an internship program in the fields of Engineering, Finance/Supply Chain Management, ICT, and Marketing and Communications. This opportunity will provide graduates with practical work experience, enhancing their skills through hands-on training and mentorship, and preparing them for future employment opportunities.
FIELD OF STUDY:
- Engineering (10 interns) Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, and Town Planning
- Finance / Supply Chain Management (10 interns)
- ICT (5 interns)
- Marketing and Communications (5 interns)
Program Overview:
- Type: Learnership for unemployed beneficiaries
- Duration: 12 Months
- Location: Various uMngeni-uThukela Water sites in KwaZulu-Natal, including eThekwini, Msunduzi, and uMhlathuze
- Experience: Hands-on, structured workplace training
- Career Development: Gain practical experience and improve your employability with real-world skills and training
- Stipend: Interns receive a monthly stipend to support their participation in the program
Application Requirements :
- NQF level 7 or 8 qualification (relevant to the field applied for)
- Applicant must be currently unemployed and available full-time for 12 months
- Must be between the age of 18 to 35
- Applicant should not be participating in another internship, learnership, or funded programme
- Only South African citizens in possession of a valid SA ID will be considered
