BACKGROUND

Afrisun KZN trading as Sun Sibaya is committed to contributing to South Africa’s national skills development agenda by focusing on both internal and external talent development initiatives. Learners will gain competence in information handling, communications, enterprise/customer service, technology, organization skills, self-development, teamwork, and business policies and procedures.

NATIONAL CERTIFICATE IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME:

The above provides unemployed people with a qualification in Business Administration. This then increases their chances for job opportunities. The programme is accredited, and the learner will exit with an NQF Level 3 qualification. The learners should be committed to undertake the programme for a 12-month period. At the end of the programme, candidates will have gained workplace exposure in the Business Administration, which will increase their chances of employment.

QUALIFYING CRITERIA

  • Sound inter-personal skills.
  • Well-presented and spoken.

KEY ACTIVITIES

  • Manage office (including e-mails, mail, and telephone)
  • Check cleanliness of own section or station
  • Capture of data into the system
  • Record paperwork and back-up documentation.
  • Report on any suspicious transactions.
  • Coordinate all admin procedures in the organization and ensure proper record keeping as required by legislation.
  • File documentation.
