Position: Learnership Electrician

The successful applicant is required to perform the following key functions, amongst other duties:
- Assist electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems within the organisation.
- Participate in planned and unplanned maintenance activities at water treatment works, pump stations, and reservoirs.
- Support fault finding and troubleshooting of electrical faults and equipment such as motors, VSD’s and basic instruments.
- Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Complete learnership assignments, logbooks, and assessments as required.
- Assist with sump cleaning.
- Complete standby duties.
The applicant is required to have:
- Matric (with Mathematics and Physical Science preferred).
- N2 – N3 Electrical Engineering Certificate.
- Previous exposure to industrial environments.
- Code 10 Driver’s License.
