Purpose
Siyanda Resources (Pty) Ltd is a black-owned investment company formed in 2004 with interest in platinum group metals (PGM’s), chrome, base metals (Manganese), energy and industrial minerals.
Siyanda Resources (Pty) Ltd seeks to award bursaries to full-time high performing and financially needy students who are accepted or registered at accredited Universities and other tertiary institutions in the Engineering Faculty.
Selection Criteria
Bursary recipientselection will focus on:
➢ High performing full-time undergraduate first, second- and third-year students, with the exception of final year students.
➢ Excellent academic track record of a minimum 60% average in academic results in matric, first, second- or third-year results of 2024.
➢ Strictly students from previously disadvantaged backgrounds will receive priority attention.
➢ Strictly South African citizens.
Fields of Study for 2025 Academic Year:
The priority study fields identified for bursary allocation are the following:
➢ Mining Engineering
➢ Rock Engineering (Geophysics or Geoscience)
➢ Metallurgical Engineering
➢ Geology
➢ Mechanical Engineering
➢ Commerce
Bursary will cover:
➢ Full accommodation
➢ Full registration and Tuition
➢ Textbook allocation
➢ Learning Material and Equipment as prescribed by the learning institution except for Laptop or cellphones devices.

➢ Certified Copy of ID (not more than three months old)
➢ Official Academic Record and Results
➢ Proof of Residence
