THE ROLE
Join Seriti Green for a unique opportunity in Renewable energy that allows students to gain practical skills beyond
the classroom. The role is a developmental role, with the primary purpose being to learn through experiential
learning in the Communication and Marketing field.
This internship offers graduates hands-on marketing and communications experience under the guidance of
experienced professionals. By fostering a positive work culture, we aim to equip interns with practical skills,
valuable connections, and a confident mindset for future success.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES
• Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including social
media, email, and website.
• Create engaging content for marketing materials, blog posts, newsletters, and social media platforms.
• Conduct market research and analyse trends to support strategic marketing decisions.
• Help maintain and update the company’s website and social media profiles.
• Support the planning and execution of events, including webinars, workshops, and promotional activities.
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm new ideas and strategies for marketing initiatives.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to marketing and communications projects.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
• Diploma/Degree in Communication Science or Marketing equivalent
• Managing online marketing channels (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing)
• Marketing Automation
• Proficiency in Excel Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Manage relations with various marketing suppliers
• Efficient at multi-tasking and researching
• Organisational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Attention to detail
• Valid driver’s licence
ADVANTAGEOUS:
• Previous marketing experience
• Basic knowledge of Seriti Green’s business principles and values
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
• Marketing & Comms Intern – Diploma/ Degree A Marketing qualification with Design
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc) is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Interest in the renewable energy industry
