SASSETA Funded Graduate Internship Programme 2025–2027

The Office of the Chief Justice invites unemployed South African graduates to apply for the SASSETA Funded Graduate Internship Programme for the 2025 to 2027 period. This 24-month programme offers opportunities within various divisions, including Administration, Public Management, and Court Administration Services (Legal). Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of R7 700 and will be placed at locations such as the National Office in Midrand, as well as in Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, Free State, and the Western Cape. The initiative aims to provide practical work experience to graduates who have not previously participated in any internship programme.
Applications must be submitted using the new Z83 form, accompanied by a comprehensive CV and the required supporting documents. The closing date for all applications is 21 November 2025. Preference will be given to persons with disabilities in line with the Department’s Employment Equity Plan. Candidates are encouraged to apply to the centre of their choice and ensure that all reference numbers are correctly quoted in their applications.

Applicants will be expected to be available for assessments and selection interviews at a time, date and place as determined by the Department. It is the applicant’s responsibility to have foreign qualifications evaluated by the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA) and National Diploma should be NQF Level 6 (with 360 credits as recognised by SAQA).
All appointments for internship are subject to the verification and pre-screening process. The OCJ reserves the right not to make an appointment.
