1. HR INTERN
Position: HR Intern
Contract: Internship Programme
Stipend: R6 000 p.m
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Centurion
Closing Date: 09 December 2025
Purpose of the Role
To provide practical workplace experience in Human Resources through structured learning, supervision, and exposure to HR processes, while supporting SANAC’s HR operations and building professional skills for future employability.
Key Responsibilities
The intern will participate in the following activities under supervision:
- Support recruitment and selection administration, including interview scheduling and documentation
- Assist with employee onboarding and induction administration
- Capture and update employee records and HR systems
- Support training and skills development coordination
- Assist with payroll-related administration and record keeping
- Support performance management administration
- Assist with basic employee relations processes (documentation, tracking progress, coordinating meetings)
- Support coordination of wellness days and employee wellbeing activities
- Assist with preparation of HR reports and filing
- Provide general HR administrative support to the HR Unit
Qualifications and Requirements
- National Diploma/Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, Public Administration (HR-focused) or related field
- South African citizen aged 18–35
- Unemployed graduate
- Good administrative and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy (MS Office essential – especially Excel and Word)
- High level of attention to detail and confidentiality
- Willingness to learn and a professional, positive attitude

2. DATABASE DEVELOPER INTERN
Position: Database Developer Intern
Contract: Internship Programme

Purpose of the Role
To provide structured workplace exposure in database development and data management while supporting SANAC’s data integrity, reporting capability, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
The intern will participate in the following activities under supervision:
- Support database design, development, updates, maintenance and optimisation
- Assist with data cleaning, integrity checks, validation, and consolidation from multiple sources
- Support system documentation and version control
- Provide basic technical assistance to users and escalate where necessary
- Assist with building and maintaining dashboards and reports (Excel, Power BI or similar)
- Support report development and routine data analysis
- Troubleshoot basic database and system issues
- Work closely with units and programme teams to improve data workflows, reporting accuracy, and system efficiency
Qualifications and Requirements
- National Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
- South African citizen aged 18–35
- Unemployed graduate
- Basic understanding of databases and data structures (SQL, MS Access, etc.)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with Excel; exposure to BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) is an advantage
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
- Eagerness to learn, innovate, and work in a data-driven environment
