Position: Mechanized Harvesting Learnership Programme 2025

SAFCOL invites unemployed youth aged 18 to 35 who wish to pursue a career in Forestry to apply for a 10-month learnership program.
Successful applicants will engage in a formal and structured Learnership Program (NQF Level 3), which includes accredited theoretical and practical training.
LOCATION:
Learners will be based at the official SAFCOL training center (Platorand) in Sabie, Mpumalanga Province. A monthly stipend will be provided for the duration of the learnership.
Upon successful completion, learners will receive a nationally recognized qualification: National Certificate in Forestry: Harvesting (NQF Level 3).
This program will equip them with the knowledge and experience to enhance their employment prospects with forestry companies and contractors, or to establish their own SMME.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be a South African Citizen
• Must be an unemployed youth age (18 to 35)
• Must have successfully passed matric (Grade 12)
• Must have passion for forestry environment and able to work outdoors
