Purpose of the Internship

The Customer Experience Centre Internship is designed to provide unemployed graduates with meaningful workplace exposure in customer service and claims administration.

Successful interns will gain experience working with claimants, processing claims, handling administrative duties, and supporting the delivery of quality services to members of the public.

The internship is intended for unemployed graduates between the ages of 18 and 25 who have never previously participated in an internship in the relevant field.

Customer Experience Centre Internship Duties

Successful candidates may perform duties that include:

  • Assisting with customer consultations.
  • Responding to claimant enquiries.
  • Providing information regarding claims.
  • Supporting outreach programmes when required.
  • Registering new claims.
  • Verifying and validating claims.
  • Assessing accident information to determine RAF liability.
  • Performing office administration.
  • Filing documents.
  • Capturing data accurately.
  • Assisting with claims administration processes.
  • Maintaining accurate records.
  • Supporting daily office operations.
Customer Experience Centre Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma or NQF Level 7 qualification.

Purpose of the Claims Investigator Internship

The Claims Investigator Internship offers graduates practical exposure to accident investigations, evidence collection, fraud detection, and claims assessment.

Participants will develop valuable investigative skills while working alongside experienced professionals involved in road accident claim investigations.

Claims Investigator Duties

Interns may gain experience in the following areas:

  • Tracing insured drivers.
  • Locating witnesses.
  • Obtaining witness statements.
  • Drafting accident scene sketch plans.
  • Conducting inspections at accident scenes.
  • Assisting with investigations.
  • Identifying possible fraud and corruption.
  • Escalating fraud cases.
  • Handling PAIA-related matters.
  • Verifying attorney documentation.
  • Collecting evidence.
  • Recording statements correctly.
  • Preparing investigation reports.
  • Assisting with Loss of Support investigations.
  • Compiling comprehensive investigation reports.
Claims Investigator Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma (NQF Level 7) in:
    • Policing
    • Forensic Investigation
    • Criminal Justice
    • Law
    • Related qualification
  • Valid South African driver’s licence.
  • Certified copy of South African ID.
  • Certified academic transcript.
  • Updated CV.
  • Motivational letter.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be South African citizens.
  • Be between 18 and 25 years old.

  • Never have participated in an internship programme related to the advertised position.
  • Not have previously served as an intern in the same field.

Applications found to contain false information regarding previous internships may be disqualified.
