Plant Production Learnership X25 – Mogale City Local Municipality

Mogale City Local Municipality invites suitably qualified and interested individuals to apply for the Plant Production Learnership Programme (NQF Level 3, SAQA ID 49052). This 12-month opportunity is designed to equip participants with practical and theoretical knowledge in agriculture, horticulture, tourism, and environmental studies. The programme aims to empower unemployed youth within the municipality by providing valuable skills that support sustainable local development and food production initiatives.

Successful applicants will receive a monthly stipend of R2,000, funded by the training services provider, for the duration of the learnership. A total of 25 positions are available, and only residents of Mogale City Local Municipality are eligible to apply. Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 12 (or equivalent) with Mathematics (Pure Maths or Maths Literacy)
  • Age: 18 – 35 years
  • Unemployed
  • No criminal record
  • Not registered with any other SETA program
  • Not receiving NSFAS funding
  • South African citizen
  • Resident within Mogale City Local Municipality
  • N6 qualification holders may not apply
