The Overberg District Municipality is calling on unemployed youth aged 21 to 35 in the Western Cape to apply for a 12-month Internship Programme.
Position: Human Resources Internship
Stipend: R100 000 per annum
Duration: 1 year fixed-term contract

Internship overview:
- To provide young graduates with local government experience in all aspects of the functions of the Human Sciences Division.
- High level of responsibility, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
- The applicant must at least have an understanding of organizational structure, and at least 1 working experience with Human Resources environment.
Requirements:
- A relevant tertiary tertiary qualification, preferably a National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources
- Computer Literacy, Proficient communication and written skills in at least 2 of 3 official languages of the Western Cape
- Physical fit
- A valid code B driver’s license and speaking all 3 official will be an added advantage.
- The applicants must be between the ages of 21 and 35
- Must be a resident of the areas were you applying from.
