The National Salt Ltd invites interested and suitably qualified candidates to apply for Internship Programme for a period of 12 months.
Position: Internship Programme
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Location: Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape
Closing Date: 16 September 2024
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately sample from various salt and brine pans.
- Operator laboratory equipment and conduct daily equipment verification.
- Conduct lab chemical analysis according to laboratory procedures.
- Prepare and standardize chemicals.
- Record, report and analyse results.
- Compile monthly laboratory reports.
- Monitor and order laboratory stock.
- Adhere to GLP and Health, Safety, Environmental regulations.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- National Diploma / Degree in Analytical Chemistry / Chemical Process Technology.
- 1 year experience in Chemistry Laboratory.
- MS Office
