Toyota South Africa invites unemployed individuals to apply for the Learner Maintenance (Unemployed Prod) learnership, a contract-based opportunity within the manufacturing environment based in Prospecton, Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. This programme is designed to provide practical workplace exposure and structured technical training, enabling participants to develop essential skills required in modern manufacturing and maintenance operations.
The learnership includes training in teamwork, safety hand tools, assembly and manufacturing drawing, marking off and welding, operating and monitoring production machines, surface preparation, fire fighting, and operations and dispatch of products. Upon successful completion of the programme, participants will achieve an NQF Level 3 certification, enhancing employability and readiness for future technical roles.

Purpose

Qualifications and Experience
- National Technical Certificate (N3 – N6)
- Matric or Technical Matric with Mathematics and Physical Science or Engineering Science
- Electrical Trade Theory, Mechanical Trade Theory, or Motor Trade Theory
- Mechanical Drawing or Graphical Design
