The Vodacom Foundation invites applications for the Youth Development Programme, which places successful candidates as ICT Coordinators for a two-year period. The programme offers practical experience in maintaining computer labs, supporting IT equipment, and resolving minor network or connectivity issues. A stipend is provided throughout the duration of the programme, and placements will be made at Schools of Excellence, Non-Profit Organisations, or Early Childhood Development Centres located in the listed areas.
Eligible applicants must have a matric certificate with an average of at least 50%, a related IT or Technical Support qualification, and must reside within the specified locations. Youth Development Programme
Vodacom Foundation Recruitment
The Vodacom Foundation is looking for youth with IT skills to place on their Youth Development Programme as ICT coordinators for two years.
The programme will offer the successful candidates an opportunity to gain work experience as entry-level IT Technicians.
Candidates will be placed at either a Vodacom Foundation supported School of Excellence, Non-Profit Organisation or Early Child Development Centre for a period of two years. Duties would include: maintenance of the computer lab & the equipment, troubleshooting, resolving minor network and connectivity issues.
Each coordinator will receive a stipend during the programme.
Coordinator Selection Criteria
- Have a matric certificate with an average pass of 50%
- Have a related or IT Technical Support Qualification
- Reside within the radius of the SOE, NPO or ECD (Candidates who are not in the listed areas will NOT be considered)
- Must be a South African resident with a valid South African ID (MIE Checks will be conducted)

A stipend is provided for the full duration of the placement, and candidates will be stationed at designated Schools of Excellence, Non-Profit Organisations, or Early Childhood Development Centres within the specified locations.
