Harmony Gold Mining Company is calling on talented and enthusiastic students, ideally from communities close to their operations, to apply for the 2026 bursary programme. This bursary provides financial assistance for full-time studies at accredited tertiary institutions in areas such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Geology, Survey and Planning, and Extractive Metallurgy.

Overview
The Harmony Gold Mining Company Limited bursary programme supports students, particularly those from communities near its operations, in pursuing full-time studies at accredited tertiary institutions in South Africa. The programme is open to new applicants as well as students already enrolled at such institutions. Bursaries are not provided for studies at TVET colleges or private colleges.

Applications for the 2026 intake must be submitted by 10 October 2025.
Application Requirements
To apply for the Harmony 2026 bursary, applicants must submit the following documents along with a completed application form:
- A certified copy of the applicant’s personal identity document.
- Certified proof of academic results:
- For Grade 12 applicants: Grade 11 December results and Grade 12 mid-term or preliminary results.
- For students already at an accredited tertiary institution: A full academic transcript.
- A curriculum vitae/resume (maximum 3 pages).
- Proof of address.
- A registration or acceptance letter from the accredited tertiary institution.
Applicants must complete the application form in block letters using black ink and submit it with all required documents.
