The Glencore Coal SA invites interested and suitably qualified candidates to apply for Experiential Training Programme for a period of 12 months.

Position: Experiential Training P1 & P2

Applications are invited for Practical Trainees who need to complete the P1 and P2 requirements in the following disciplines:

  • Metallurgy
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering

To be considered for the opportunities, you will need to meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • National Diploma (S4)
  • Preference will be given to applicants in the local communities where Glencore Coal Operations South Africa are located
  • Proof of residence to be submitted with application.
  • Selection will be line with the Employment Equity requirements of the Company
  • Short-listed candidates will be subjected to assessment and interview as part of the selection process.

The Practical Training Programme will cover the following:

  • Experiential Learning for a 12 months period to assist the practical trainee in obtaining his/her relevant Diploma.
  • The Company offers a monthly stipend.
