FAIS Ombud: Graduate Training Programme 2025/2026

The FAIS Ombud invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for its 12-month Client Care Graduate Training Programme. This programme offers an excellent opportunity for graduates to develop essential skills in client care, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance within a dynamic and supportive environment.
Programme Details:
- Position: Client Care Graduate Training Programme X2 Posts
- Duration: 12 months.
- Structure: Trainees work under a dedicated mentor, assigned to the Client Department, with exposure to competency-based training.
- Benefits:

- Key Responsibilities:
- Register new complaints.
- Assess if complaints fall under the FAIS Act or Financial Services Ombuds Scheme Act 37 of 2004 (FSOS).
- Guide complainants on jurisdiction eligibility.
- Extract complaint details and request additional information as needed.
- Refer non-jurisdictional complaints to relevant entities.
- Liaise with complainants and financial service providers.
Application Requirements:
- South African citizen with a valid ID.
- Office Administration Diploma (NQF 6).
- Passion for public service and interest in the financial sector.
- Strong academic background.
- Ability to work in a stressful, deadline-driven environment and willingness to work extra hours.
- Energetic, self-driven, and computer literate.
