External Bursary 2026 | Eastern Cape Provincial Treasury

The Eastern Cape Provincial Treasury invites eligible students to apply for external bursary funding for the 2026 academic year. Key skills and capacity needs have been identified within the department, and through this bursary programme, support is provided for full-time undergraduate studies in priority fields such as Economics, Accounting, Information Technology, Internal Auditing, Financial Information Systems, and Supply Chain Management. The objective of the programme is to strengthen service delivery by investing in the development of young talent, particularly students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds.

Applications are encouraged from South African citizens who reside in the Eastern Cape and meet the minimum academic and financial requirements. Priority is given to applicants living with disabilities as part of a commitment to inclusivity and equal opportunities. By supporting deserving students, the programme aims to build a skilled, professional, and representative workforce that will contribute positively to the growth and sustainability of the Eastern Cape Provincial Treasury.
