EPWP Youth Graduate Vacancies Available at Makana Municipality

The Makana Municipality invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the advertised position based in Makhanda, Alicedale, and Riebeek East. STIPEND: R 271,04 per day

Makana Local Municipality, in partnership with the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and Environment, hereby invites applications from suitably qualified unemployed graduates to participate in the following programme:

Fields and Posts:

  • Waste Management – 4 posts
  • Horticulture – 4 posts
  • Climate Change – 3 posts
  • Occupational Health & Safety – 2 posts
  • Human Resources Management – 2 posts
  • Financial Management – 2 posts
  • Public Administration – 2 posts
  • Communications – 1 post
Requirements:
  • A recognized Degree/Diploma in Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Financial Management, Human Resources, Public Administration, Communications or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of environmental legislation with a focus on local government; understanding of local government and its relationship with national and provincial spheres of government.
  • Must be a South African citizen in possession of a valid South African ID document.
  • Applicants must be under the age of 35 years and must be medically fit.
