The Department of Sport, Arts and Culture (DSAC) invites young South African graduates to register on its E-Recruitment Talent Database for future contract placement opportunities. This initiative is aimed at supporting the National Development Plan (NDP) Vision 2030 by creating pathways for youth participation in the sport, arts, culture, and heritage sectors.
Eligible applicants are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to gain valuable workplace exposure and contribute to national development. Registration on the database will allow the Department to identify suitable candidates for upcoming placements aligned with its mandate and skills needs.

- Arts, Culture and Heritage Preservation and Promotion
- Library and Information Sciences
- Archives and Records Management
- Cultural History, Anthropology or Archaeology
- Creative Industries (Digital Arts, Design, Performing Arts, etc.)
- Communication, Public Relations and Marketing
- Events Management and Logistics
- Administration and Related Support Services
- Any other career field relevant to the Department’s mandate
Who May Submit?
Youth who are:
- Aged 18–35 years
- In possession of a relevant qualification (National Diploma, Degree or Postgraduate qualification)
- Not participating in any government-funded learnership/internship at the time of application
- 1–2 years workplace experience will be an added advantage
- Passionate about contributing to South Africa’s development in Sport, Arts, Culture and Heritage sectors
