The Department of Social Development offers exciting opportunities to suitable candidates for potential placement in our internship programme. The intention is to give practical work experience to those students who require In-Service Training to obtain their qualification and those recently graduated but unemployed and require exposure in a work environment.
Youth from all race and gender categories are encouraged to apply for the internship. Preference will be given to youth with disabilities.
Successful candidates will be placed in any of the Department’s Corridors and Institutions in Ekurhuleni, Tshwane, Sedibeng, West Rand and Johannesburg where the need has been identified and will be expected to enter a 24-month contract that is anticipated to commence between August and September 2025.
