KwaZulu-Natal Department of Social Development invites South Africa unemployed youth to apply for an Internship Programme for a period of 24 months.

Requirements
KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Department of Social Development is contributing towards skills development initiatives for the youth in the province by providing opportunities to unemployed graduates to gain workplace experience in various work disciplines.
Applications are therefore invited from unemployed graduates to participate in the Internship Programme that will run for a period of 24 months contract, which will provide them valuable work experience and increase their opportunities towards employment. The Interns will receive a monthly stipend for R7 450.07
Applicants must be unemployed graduates residing in KwaZulu-Natal Province. Unemployed graduates must have completed tertiary qualifications (certified through graduation) which is a three-year (3) Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma from a recognized University or College and have never participated in an internship programme from National, Provincial and Local Government before.
Preference will be given to people with disabilities and candidates residing within the respective District l, however candidates must be prepared to relocate to any of the offices listed below at own costs should their applications be successful.
Candidates must be computer literate, between the ages of 18 and 35 years and prepared to undergo a selection process that will include a structured interview.
