
The Western Cape Department of Agriculture (WCDoA) invites South African unemployed youth to apply for Internship Programme for a period of 12 – 24 months.
Position: Graduate Internship Programme
Duration: 12 – 24 Months

The Western Cape Department of Agriculture (WCDoA) offers opportunities to twelve (12) qualified graduates, with the following qualifications, who are unemployed and require practical work exposure:
- Human Resources/Office Management (Elsenburg – seven positions; George – three positions)
- Economics/Financial Management (George – two positions)
Requirements
- Applicants must be South African citizens residing in the Western Cape.
- Applicants from the areas mentioned will receive preference.
- Females and persons with a disability are encouraged to apply.
- Unemployed Western Cape graduates will receive priority.
- Only youth (18 – 35 years) may apply.
- Applicants must be entering an internship/developmental programme in government for the first time.

Nature and Period of Appointment
Successful applicants will be appointed on a fixed-term contract for 24 months, in the areas where the positions are based. The appointed graduate interns will receive an annual stipend of R89 400.
