Selection Criteria

Applications will be evaluated based on the following requirements:

  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Must reside within the City of Ekurhuleni (proof required)
  • Must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years
  • Must have completed Grade 12
  • Must have secured an acceptance letter or proof of registration for the 2026 academic year
  • Must provide proof of total household income

Meeting the minimum criteria does not guarantee selection, as applications are assessed competitively based on academic performance and financial need.

Required Supporting Documents

Applications must be accompanied by certified copies (not older than three months) of the following documents:

  • South African Identity Document
  • Matric certificate
