CIPC: Graduate Internship Programme 2025

The Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) invites applications for the 2025 Graduate Internship Programme based at the Sunnyside Office in Pretoria. The initiative aims to provide unemployed South African graduates with valuable workplace exposure and practical experience aligned with their academic qualifications. The programme runs for a period of 24 months, offering a monthly stipend of R12 000, and is designed to develop young professionals in various fields to enhance their employability in the public and private sectors.

This internship opportunity targets graduates who have completed their studies but have not yet gained formal work experience. Applicants must be South African citizens aged between 18 and 35 years and hold qualifications relevant to the specific internship position. Successful candidates will sign an Internship Agreement and participate in structured workplace learning under professional supervision. Preference will be given to applicants in line with the Employment Equity Plan, and placement will be based on academic performance and suitability for each role.

What is an Internship?

An internship is a public service graduate work experience programme targeting unemployed graduates. It provides workplace exposure and practical experience to prepare graduates for employment in their chosen fields.

Beneficiaries of the Programme
  • Unemployed South African graduates who have completed a degree or diploma.
  • Graduates who have not been exposed to work experience.
  • Applicants aged between 18 and 35 years.
Remuneration

Interns receive a stipend of R12 000 per month.

Successful applicants will sign a Graduate Internship Programme Agreement with CIPC.
