Position: Industrial Engineering Internship / Supply Chain Internship

Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa

Closing Date: 08 August 2025

This is an excellent opportunity for five (5) candidates who are in their final year and are looking for valuable work experience in a fast-paced Warehousing environment. The successful candidates will be based at our Warehouse & Distribution Centre in Longlake,
Johannesburg.

Preference will be given to EE Candidates.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO

  • Learn to use the scanner and product codes
  • Understand the picking systems
  • Check and confirm picked orders
  • Prepare invoices
  • Coordinate dispatches
  • Receive, verify and store stock appropriately
  • Understand the Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Review and assess warehouse processes
  • Identify opportunities for warehouse operational improvements and cost saving
  • Maintain discipline and foster a culture of excellence, accountability and collaboration.

Successful candidates need to be pro-active, hardworking, detail-oriented and solution driven with good communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Grade 12
  • Studying towards or obtained a National Diploma in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management
  • Must be familiar with Excel, i.e. pivot tables graphs, formulas, designs etc.
  • Expertise in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Must be computer literate
  • Between 18 – 29 years old

The successful applicants must be independent self starter, with a sense of urgency and high attention to detail. Must be able to interact professionally with others and able to handle pressure. In return for your services, the Company offers a competitive market related remuneration package.
