Job Description
The Global Supply Chain Learner (GSC Learner) is tasked with generating and supplying management information (MI) reports in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner. These reports encompass Health, Safety, and Quality performance, data entry activities, and general Supply Chain reports. The role also involves active participation in relevant meetings to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
The GSC Learner coordinates product change activities within the Supply Chain, including the F2103 process, engaging with third-party (3P) manufacturers, and collating data for updates in the global database. The role requires close collaboration with the Blendcor Joint Venture (JV), UnicoTec, technology, procurement, and manufacturing departments to provide continual support to manufacturing management in meeting service level agreements between Supply Chain and its customers.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Performance
- Track supplier quality performance and record non-conformities in the regional supplier complaints registry system.
- Record and track customer complaints via the global database (eQMS).
- Monitor third-party manufacturers’ product quality performance and update MI periodic reports.
- Capture minutes and generate periodic quality performance reports from engagements between Castrol and its third-party suppliers.
- Track and record manufacturing Quality Observation Conversations (QOCs) against global performance standards.
- Coordinate the Inter-Laboratory Correlation Programme (ILCP) by collating and reporting results from participants in the region.
F2103/NPI Process
- Coordinate and track the efficient execution of the F2103 process related to New Product Introduction (NPI) and product change activities between technology, marketing, manufacturing, and relevant third-party manufacturers.
Handling of Customer Samples
- Receive and distribute customer samples to relevant manufacturers in cases of complaints.
- Track customer complaint Root Cause Analysis (RCA) progress and collate data for reporting.
Compliance & Quality Audits
- Track audit findings and follow up with third-party manufacturers for closure.
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Ability to think analytically and solve problems independently.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships quickly.
- Demonstrates agility by being flexible and open to change.
- Awareness of sustainability issues and their relation to business operations.
