Program Overview

The Youth Employment Service (Y.E.S) Program is a collaborative initiative aimed at addressing the high youth unemployment rate in South Africa. It is designed to empower participants by providing hands-on work experience and fostering the development of new skills, enabling meaningful workplace exposure.

The program targets unemployed South African citizens aged 18 to 35 who have not previously participated in the Y.E.S Program. Successful candidates will be mentored over a 12-month period across various departments, gaining practical experience to enhance their employability and professional growth.

  • Midrand Offices: Located at 96 15th Rd, Randjespark, Midrand, 1685, South Africa.
  • Brits Manufacturing Plant: Opportunities available at the Bosch manufacturing facility in Brits.
Job Description

The Y.E.S Program offers participants the chance to:

  • Engage in hands-on work experience in a dynamic and innovative environment.
  • Develop critical workplace skills under the guidance of experienced mentors.
  • Contribute to real-world projects in various departments, including Logistics, Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, and Sales & Marketing.
  • Build a foundation for future career opportunities through practical exposure and professional development.

The 12-month program is structured to provide meaningful learning opportunities, ensuring participants gain valuable insights into the operations of a global technology leader.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements

To be eligible for the Y.E.S Program, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Education:
    • Matric certificate.
    • Degree or Diploma in one of the following fields:
      • Logistics
      • Supply Chain
      • Commercial
      • Finance
      • Sales & Marketing
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Employment Status: Must have been unemployed for the last six (6) months.
  • Age: Between 18 and 35 years old.
  • Program History: Must not have previously participated in the Y.E.S Program.
