BCMM: Internship Programme 2025/2026

Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality invites qualified, unemployed graduates residing in Buffalo City or the Eastern Cape Province to apply for the Internship Programme for the 2025/26 financial year.
This two-year initiative offers opportunities across diverse departments, including Project Implementation Unit, Financial Services, Human Resource Performance and Development, Governance & Internal Auditing, Fresh Produce Market, Environmental Management, Municipal Health Services, Air Quality Management, Zoo, Information Technology & Support, Public Participation, Communications, IDP/BI & IPMS, and the Office of the Chief Whip.
Candidates holding National Diplomas or Degrees in fields such as Safety Management, Civil Engineering, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Environmental Management, Information Technology, and others are eligible. The programme includes 24 internship positions, each with specific qualifications and reference numbers, requiring applicants to submit a curriculum vitae, certified copies of certificates, ID documents, and, where applicable, drivers’ licenses, with non-submission or fraudulent documents resulting in disqualification.
