AgriSETA invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for the position of Skills Planning & Research Interns (X5) on a 24-month contract. The role offers market-related remuneration and is based at the Head Office in Pretoria within the Skills Planning & Research Division. The internship aims to provide effective support through accurate data capturing, data control, administrative assistance, and reporting functions essential to the division’s operations.

AgriSETA invites candidates with an N6, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Office Administration, Office Management, or related fields to submit their applications before the closing date. JOB PURPOSE
To provide support within the Skills Planning & Research Division.

ROLE CONTEXT
Function within the Skills Planning & Research Division with a primary focus on data capturing and control.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

1. Data Capturing

  • Maintain and update AgriSETA’s database to enable efficient data retrieval
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure the validity of data
  • Provide weekly data reports to the Assistant Manager
  • Retrieve reports from the Management Information System (Indicium) and distribute to relevant stakeholders for payment purposes
  • Prepare and submit quarterly SETMIS reports
  • Prepare reports requested by DHET and management for review by the Assistant Manager
  • Prepare and submit performance information reports for management review
  • Provide data trend analysis from AgriSETA’s database
  • Maintain documented proof of all captured information
  • Verify, enrol and authorise learner information relating to various learning programmes within AgriSETA (inclusive of partnerships and other stakeholders)

2. Management of Data

  • Compile data on request
  • Maintain various data sets

3. Administration

  • Assist with basic administration tasks
  • Maintain administrative processes within the division

4. Ad Hoc

  • Perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time by the Assistant Manager: Skills Planning & Research

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • N6 / National Diploma / Equivalent Qualification in Office Administration, Office Management or any other relevant qualification

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

  • Advanced competencies in MS Excel, MS Word and Outlook
  • Advanced administrative skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong team player
