Position: Apprenticeship X9
Location: Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal
Closing Date: 30 June 2025
Apprentice opportunity exists at our Pietermaritzburg site for prospective candidates
interested in pursuing an apprenticeship with the company in the following trades:
- 4 X Fitter
- 3 X Electrician
- 2 X Boilermaker
The minimum requirements for these positions are:
- Matric Certificate with Math’s and Science
- N3 with relevant trade theory
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Successful candidates would be expected to:
- Sign the relevant apprenticeship contracts lasting a minimum of 3 years.
(This means that successful applicants will relinquish all previous contracts with Aberdare) - Be prepared to travel to Training Centre in Pinetown for phase training at own cost.
- Apply for artisan vacancies within the Company subject to the successful completion of their trade test and availability of vacancies at the time.
