Qualification
- An appropriate level of secondary education (NQF 5/6)
- Code EB driving license
- Computer Literacy – MS Office Applications

- Relevant 0 – 6 months experience
Key Responsibility
- Provides support to the immediate supervisor in respect administrative /clerical tasks associated within the section /branch /division.
- Performs general clerical duties and renders support to Budget and Reporting functional areas
- In order to ensure instructions and /or guidelines are complied with, data is accurately updated and related information and records maintained and made available when required.
- · In order to make sure laid down instructions/ guidelines are complied with and efficient office support made available to facilitate the accomplishment of specific deadlines/ requirements or outputs.

INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW
The internship programme is a structured professional training and work experience programme with the goal of providing high quality training and practical exposure in all aspects of a Municipal Budget and Treasury Office which is governed by the Municipal Finance Management Act, Actb56 of 2003 and the underlying reforms.
The programme has a logical training sequence that builds on the skills and competencies acquired during University and Technikon Training. It ends where appropriate, with the credits or a qualification in Municipal Finance Management in line with Minimum Competency Regulations, Gazette 29967 of June 2007
