The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) invites interested and suitably qualified candidates to apply for two (2) Grants Administrator (Level 05) vacancies available in the North West Province. Minimum Requirements

Applicants must possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
  • An undergraduate qualification at NQF Level 6, recognised by SAQA, in one of the following fields:

  • A valid driver’s licence is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will perform a wide range of administrative and customer service duties, including:

  • Providing grant customer care services at local office level.
  • Screening grant applications received from members of the public.
  • Capturing grant applications on the relevant systems.
  • Processing beneficiary maintenance transactions.
  • Administering medical bookings and assessments.
  • Providing off-site grant application services where required.
  • Scanning and batching grant files.
  • Performing general administrative duties.
  • Conducting quality control on grant applications.
  • Ensuring compliance with Section 57 of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Chapter 6, Part 3.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring confidentiality of client information.
  • Assisting clients with enquiries regarding social grants and application processes.
  • Supporting efficient service delivery while maintaining high standards of professionalism.
