Minimum Requirements
- A Grade 12 or Matric Certificate, or an equivalent qualification at NQF Level 4, is required for consideration.
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Basic reading, writing and calculation skills, necessary for daily administrative and data recording tasks
- Physical fitness to carry a malaria spray can for extended periods while conducting indoor house spraying and treatment of water bodies
- Ability to work safely with chemicals
- Competency in mixing insecticides according to prescribed safety standards
- Physical capability for loading and offloading goods and equipment used during spray operations
- Willingness to assist with moving household property inside homes and covering furniture before spraying takes place

Duties and Responsibilities
- Cleaning functions at malaria stations, including vehicles, spray cans, buildings and surrounding areas
- Completion of spray and hut cards, referred to as SP1 forms, during spray operations
- Data capturing duties, involving accurate and consistent recording of information gathered during spraying and surveillance activities
- Conducting environmental surveillance and community surveillance, including monitoring potential mosquito breeding sites and engaging with community members on malaria prevention
- Performing any other general work duties as directed by supervisors from time to time
