Important Application Notes

Closing Date: 24 July 2026 at 16h00. Applications received after this date, as well as faxed copies, will not be considered.

Applications must be submitted using Form Z83, effective from 01 January 2021, available at any Public Service Department office or through the DPSA website. Applications using an incorrect Z83 form will be disqualified. The form must be signed and dated, and accompanied by a detailed CV outlining qualifications, training, competencies, and experience. Certified copies of qualifications are only required from shortlisted candidates, submitted before the interview date and not older than six months.

Applicants applying for more than one post must submit a separate Z83 form and supporting documents for each position. Applying for multiple posts on a single form will result in only the first listed post being considered. Photostat or faxed copies of documents will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Successful candidates will undergo Personnel Suitability Checks, including criminal record, citizenship, financial and asset verification, and qualification and employment checks. Security clearance processes also apply. Shortlisted candidates will complete pre-entry assessments, including a practical exercise and an Integrity Assessment, both of which are scored during the interview process.

Selected candidates will be appointed on a twelve-month probation period. Financial interests must be disclosed within one month of appointment.
