The National Metrology Institute of South Africa (NMISA) is inviting suitably qualified and experienced professionals to apply for the position of Senior Human Resources Practitioner. About the Position
The Senior Human Resources Practitioner will serve as a trusted strategic advisor to executive management while supporting the implementation of people management initiatives that align with NMISA’s strategic objectives.
The position requires an experienced HR leader capable of operating in a highly regulated public-sector environment governed by the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA). Responsibilities include overseeing labour relations, supporting organisational transformation, ensuring legislative compliance, strengthening governance structures, and contributing to workforce development initiatives.
The successful candidate will also work closely with executive leadership and Board committees by preparing reports, presenting HR matters, and providing strategic guidance on human capital issues.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Applicants must possess a completed postgraduate qualification or Honours Degree (NQF Level 8) in one of the following fields:
