
Internship Programme Opportunities – South African National Parks (SANParks) 2026.
South African National Parks (SANParks) is inviting applications from unemployed graduates who have completed a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) at a recognized South African Higher Education Institution. The 24-month Internship Programme offers valuable workplace experience across several departments nationwide.
Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of R6,335.69 for the duration of the programme. Participation in the internship does not guarantee permanent employment after completion.

About SANParks
SANParks is the leading conservation authority responsible for managing 3,751,113 hectares of protected land across 20 national parks in South Africa. The organisation operates under the National Environmental Management: Protected Areas Act (Act 57 of 2003) and plays a key role in biodiversity protection, tourism development and community upliftment.
The internship programme provides graduates with practical workplace experience in conservation support services, communications, administration, ICT, tourism, finance and related divisions.

Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the SANParks Internship Programme, applicants must:
- Be unemployed graduates aged 18–35
- Be a South African citizen
- Hold a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in one of the listed fields
- Not have previously participated in an internship or placement programme
- Not have formal work experience in the relevant field
